Building protective and promotive factors to reduce risk and create optimal outcomes for children, youth and families, supporting parents as decision makers/leaders and valuing the culture and unique assets of each family are ways we can all help to strengthen families. Join this session to learn how you as an early childhood professional can support and strengthen families. We will use the NC FELD tool as we focus some attention on the domain emotional-social development and explore how children identify, manage, and express their feelings.
