What does it mean to share a story with a child or group of children? Participants will learn how to expand children’s language and give feedback while reading. We will also discuss how to maintain combined attention and follow the lead of the children while reading a book. We will use the NC FELD tool as we focus some attention on language development and communication and explore helping children develop interest in books and motivation to read.
