In this session participants will learn about how care provided in group settings should support strong relationships and positive learning experiences. Discussions will take place on how the development in the first 3 years is a complex process, as all areas of development are interdependent and that new accomplishments in any one area enable changes in other areas. Participants will be reminded that every little interaction can have an impact for a lifetime. We will use the NC FELD tool as we focus some attention on cognitive development and explore how children use their senses to construct knowledge about the world around them.
