Teaching Strategies

I want you to have access to reliable, developmentally appropriate information to support your youngest learners. I am pleased to let you know that we have recently launched the Healthy at Home family toolkit. The toolkit represents a comprehensive approach to provide educators and families with free resources to navigate school and program closures. Healthy at Home also provides a direct place for every family to access relevant, accurate, and easy to implement activities that meet the needs of diverse learners.

The Healthy at Home resources were designed by medical, mental health, and early childhood experts to provide support for families and schools and includes:

  • Quick mobile-friendly resource for teachers and administrators to send out to families
  • A single location for families to access accessible, relevant, and developmentally appropriate information to support the young children in their care
  • 100% bilingual content
  • A curated collection of ReadyRosie™ Modeled Moment videos and The Creative Curriculum® LearningGames® and Mighty Minutes®
  • Ongoing new weekly content

We are excited to continue developing free resources for school leaders, teachers, and families based on your needs as this situation unfolds. The next initiative we have would be the ParentPal App that will be available on Monday. For starters, I encourage you to use the Healthy at Home toolkit and please feel free to share this resource with your families and peers. As always, I am here to help and please don’t hesitate to reach out to let me know what would be helpful to you and your families.
